DISTINCTIVES of the Evangelical Free Church of Montrose

• We recognize that our eternal relationship with God is based on the grace offered through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, not by anything we can do to earn His favor.
  
• Freedom of the believer - In issues where the Bible is silent, the believer is encouraged to make his or her own decisions in daily and lifestyle choices through prayer and study of Scripture under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
• Equipping the believer to use his or her spiritual gifts and abilities to serve others.
• Joyful, celebrative, contemporary worship.
  
• Outward focused - Our desire is to minister to those who are not being reached by other local churches.
