Position: Director of Student Ministries

Matt is our director of student ministries, overseeing all youth programs up through high school.  Matt is a graduate of Penn State University with extensive coaching experience in high school football.  As a former member of Penn State Altoona's baseball team, Matt's knowledge of sports and how that translates into developing life skills in many areas of life, along with his ability to relate to kids of all ages, are valuable additions to the ministry of the church.  Matt's guitar and worship experience add special focus to the spiritual dynamic of youth ministry. His business experience provides important balance in keeping life real. Matt's ultimate focus is discipling children and teens as they grow in their spiritual journey. Matt's wife, Ragen, is a strong and valuable partner in his ministry. She is also a leader in Alpha Chi for teen girls and heads up BLAST for children. The Harmans have two daughters and a son.
